Ehret Inc. opened its doors in a garage in 1903.  What began as a two man shop doing residential plumbing repairs and steam heating, has evolved into a company that is among the leaders in our industry in our region.

We specialize in utility construction, including water and sewer main installation and repairs, pavement construction and repairs, large commercial plumbing and HVAC installation and repair, as well as residential installation and repairs.

We have about 150 full time employees, and we boast a fleet of equipment that is quite impressive.   

According to Midwest Construction, we were ranked #105 worldwide, and # 74 in Illinois by revenue.

We are proud to serve many of the local municipalities and utility companies, as well as local homeowners and businesses.
